Funeral services for Harold
Whalen, 42, of Ellenburg
Center, who was killed in a
snowmobile accident Saturday
night, December 22, were
held Monday, December 24th
in St. Edmund’s Church,
Ellenbucg with the Rev. John
Weir officietlng. Burial will
be te ibe parish cemetery.
Born in Ellenburg Center,
March 25, 1931, he was a son
of Mrs Malean Trombly
Whalen of Brainardsville, and
the late Patrick Whalen and
worked on general coottruetion
in the area.
He was married to the former
Molly Anna Gregory.
Beside his mother and wife,
he is survived by a daughter,
Susan, I5, and two sons
Larry, 13, and Dennis, 11, all
at home} two sisters
Evelyn King of Burke and Mrs
Jane Barber of Chasy Lake
and six brothers, Herman of
Churubusco, Carl and Bernard
both of Ellenburg Center,
Richard of Chateaugey, Walter
of Bralnardrvllle and John of
Merrill.
