Eleanor Tellstone

PLATTSBURGH — Eleanor
Tellstone. 79, of the Clinton County
Nursing Home, died there Tuesday.
She was born in Plattsburgh April
16, 1900, the daughter of the late
John and Rose (Bressette) Senecal.
Mrs. Tellstone had been in ill
health for several years. She lived
in Plattsburgh most of her life, and
worked many years at the Pal Blade
Co.
Survivors include two brothers,
Robert and Stanley Senecal, both of
-Plattsburgh Three sisters, Mrs. Anna
Claymore, Mrs. Paulene Bouvia
and Mrs. Lucille Champagne, all of
Plattsburgh; and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call at the Brown
Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral mass will be celebrated
Thursday at 9 a.m. in the chapel of
The Brown Funeral Home
Burial will be in the spring at St.
Peter’s Cemetery

PLATTSBURGH – Anna Mae
Claymore, 85, wife of Roger
Claymore of 10 Goff Ave., died in the
CVPH Medical-Center early Saturday
morning.
She was. born Nov. 16,1896 in Plattsburgh,
the daughter of John and
Rosalie (Bessette) Senecal.
Mrs. Claymore lived in Plattsburgh
all her life.
Survivors include her husband;
two sons, John and William, both pi
Plattsburgh; two daughters,
Pauline of Oswego and Mrs. Lucille
Upd’yke of Hantingdon, Pa.; two
sisters, Pauline Bouvia and Lucille
Champagne both of Plattsburgh
two brothers, Robert and Stanley
Senecal, both of Plattsburgh; 12
grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren.
Calling hours are today from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral

A mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral
home chapel. •
Burial will be in the family plot in
St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Francis F. Senecal
PLATTSBURGH—Mr. Francis
F, Senecal, 82, of 2 Mildred Blvd.,
died Tuesday in the Sacred Heart
Nursing Home.
He had been ill for many years.
He was born in Plattsburgh Sept.
18, 1895, the son of the late John
and Rose (Brissette) Senecal.
He made his home in Plattsburgh
all of his life and was a
veteran of World War I. Before he
became ill, he was employed by
the Riverside Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Stella M. Perry; three
sons, James, Francis and Maynard
Senecal, all of Plattsburgh; three
daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Gallagher
of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Shirley Bruno
of Poughkeepsie and Mrs. Theresa
Grande of Putman 29 grandchildren
and 14 great-grandchildren;
two brothers, Robert and
Stanley Senecal of Plattsburgh;
four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Bouvia,
Mrs. Anna Clayraour, Mrs. Lucille
Champaigne and Mrs. Lena
Tellstone, all of Plattsburgh;
.several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours at the Brown
Funeral Home today will be from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral mass will be Thursday
at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory
Church. Burial will be in the family
plot in the St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Stanley Senecal
PLATTSBURGH – Stanley
Senecal, 79, of Goff Avenue, died
on Saturday, April 27,1985, at the
CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Pittsburgh on
Sept. 21, 1905, the son of John B.
and Rosalee (Bressette) Senecai.
He worked at Riverside.
Cemetery for more than 30
years. He was a member of St.
Peter’s Church.
Survivors include one brother,
Robert D. Senecal of Plattsburgh;
one sister, Mrs. Pauline
Bouvia of Plattsburgh; and
several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Sun*
day. A mass of Christian burial
will be held today at noon at St.
Peter’s Church. Burial will
follow in the parish cemetery

E. Champagne, 79, of 103 Margaret
St. died Monday, May 16,1983, in the
CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in Plattsburgh on
Sept. 21, 1903, the daughter of John
and Rose (Bressette) Senecal.
Her husband, Andrew Champagne
Sr.( died in 1963. Mrs. Champagne
was a communicant of St.
Peter’s Church.
Survivors include two sons, Andrew
Champagne of Plattsburgh
and Donald Champagne of Dannemora;
two brothers, Robert
Senecal and Stanley Senecal, both of
Plattsburgh; one sister, Mrs.
Pauline Bouvea of Plattsburgh; and
seven grandchildren.
Calling hours are scheduled today
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
A mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated at 9a.m. Thursday-at
the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow in St. Peter’s
Cemetery.
