Adrian A. Forkey

MORRISONVILLE – Adrian
M. Forkey, 58, of Grace Street,
died Saturday, Jan. 19, 1985, at
the CVPH Medical Center in
Plattsburgh.
He was born in Mooers Forks
on Oct. 12,1926, the son of Arthur
and Rubie (Garrow) Forkey. He
was a communicant of St. Alexander’s
Church in Morrisonville,
a World War II Navy veteran, a
member of American Legion
Post 1619 and a 1944 graduate of
MAI in Plattsburgh.
Mr. Forkey worked for the
A&P grocery stores for more
than 40 years, where he was an
assistant manager.
Survivors include his wife, the
former Mildred Garrow; two
sons. Brad of Aurora, Colo, and
James of Plattsburgh; a
daughter, Mrs. Keith (Linda)
Facteau of Morrisonville; four
brothers, Gilbert and Roger of
Plattsburgh, Albert of Redford
and Clarence of Morrisonville;
two sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Ruth)
Rock of Peru and Mrs. Armand
(Elizabeth) Fountain of Morrisonville;
three grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Arthur, died in 1968.
Calling hours at the Brown
Funeral Home in Plattsburgh
will be held today from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. A mass of the Christian
burial will be celebrated
Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at
St. Alexander’s Church. Burial
will be in the spring in the parish
cemetery.

be made to the American Cancer
Society.
