WILLIAM S. DUVAL, SR.
AGE: 79 LITTLE RIVER, SC
William S. Duval, Sr., 79, died January 10, 2011 at his home. Born on September 7, 1931 in Ellenburg, NY, he was the son of the late Francis and Henrietta LaBarre Duval. Mr. Duval was a Combat Sgt. 1st. Class Korean War Veteran, usher at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, an avid bowler and softball player. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1992 after 42 dedicated years of service.
Mr. Duval is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ernestine W. Schneider Duval of Little River, SC; three sons, William S.Duval, Jr. and his partner Dan, Michael J. Duval (Michelle), Brian J. Duval (Judy); three daughters, Denise A Malyska (Stanley), Margaret S. Pouliot (Thomas), Sharon M. Mychalczuk (Michael); two brothers, James Duval of Peru, NY, Paul Duval (Susan) of Ellenburg, NY; two sisters, Martha Jones (Jerry) of CT, Gemma Wills of FL; sister-in-law, Otti Duval; ten grandchildren, Tommy, Nicole, Yvette, Danielle, Brianna, Brittany, Michael, Steven, Paul, Joseph; seven great-grandchildren, Eric, Michael, Kevin, Brody, Ryan, Taylor and Katie. He is predeceased by four brothers, Daniel, Everett, Sam and Lester and three sisters, RitaDuval, Mary Milender and Veronica Papageorge.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Our Lady Star Of The Sea Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1100 8th Avenue North, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. Lee Funeral Home & Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach is serving the family.

Peru — David S. Duval, 60, of the Calkins Road, Peru, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Aug. 13, 1943, the son of William and Bessie (Lovely) Duval.
David worked at Everett’s Orchard in Peru for many years.
He was a member of the Peru Rod and Gun Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He enjoyed four wheeling and camping.
Survivors include his wife, Lillybell M. (Bushey) Duval of Peru; four daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and William Neyer of Schuyler Falls, Iris Duval and Wilfred Boyd of Plattsburgh, Donna Duval of Albany and Mary Duval and Keith LaBombard of Schuyler Falls; 15 grandchildren; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Clint Duval; and daughter, Judith Duval.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Peru with Rev. Gilbert Menard, retired, celebrating. Burial will be in the spring in the parish cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
