MORRISONVILLE � Mr. Gerald M. Brault, 51, of Sand Road, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born on Nov. 19, 1951, in Plattsburgh, the son of Bernard D. and Florence (Steere) Brault.

Gerald was a graduate of Saranac Central High School. He had been a corrections officer for 30 years, retiring in 2001 as a sergeant from Lyon Mountain Correctional Facility. Gerald was currently an assistant manager at Advance Auto Parts in Plattsburgh.

Gerald is survived by his mother, Florence Brault of Cadyville; five children, Robert A. and Heather Brault of Saranac, Cari Brault of Weehawken, N.J., Scott Brault of Saranac, Josh and Brittany Soulia of Malone, and Trevar Soulia of Morrisonville; one grandson, Brendon Soulia; four brothers, Raymond and Peggy Brault of St. Petersburg, Fla., Donald and Sally Brault of Belmar, N.J., Bernard and Connie Brault of Cadyville, Roland Brault of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Deanna and Allan Joss of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Gerald was predeceased by his father, Bernard D. Brault.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Brown Funeral Home in Cadyville.

DANNEMORA — William Joseph “Billy” Brault, 63, of Orchard Street in Dannemora passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at his home with his wife by his side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country.

He was born in Plattsburgh on Jan. 24, 2947, the son of Edward and Monica (Gonyea) Brault. William served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a firefighter for the Castle Point V.A. Hospital Fire Department for more than 20 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Marine Corp. League, the Veterans of Foreign War and American Legion. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patricia (Free) Brault, and had a special love for his very close friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Gary Brault. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be offered to the charity of one’s choice.

Bertha B. Bushey, 85, formerly
of Cumberland Head, died
Thursdav. Feb. 7, 1991, at the
CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh.
She was born March 4. 1905,
the daughter of Edward and
Myra (Bressette) Brault.
\ She was a -member of St.
Peters Church in Plattsburgh.
She is survived by two sons.
Raymond Bushey of Plattsburgh
and Marvin Bushey of Morrisonville;
two daughters,
Mildred Foti Gerry of Cocoa
Beach. Fla.. and Mrs. Victor
(Minerva) Mousseau of Plattsburgh;
a sister. Beatrice
Cowsert of Plattsburgh; 14
grandchildren. 25 great-grandchildren
and several nieces and
nephews. Her husband, Walter
Bushey, and a son, Donald
Bushey, died earlier.
Calling hours and Mass of
Christian burial will be celebrat-
 ed privately at the convenience
of the family. Burial will be at a
later date in St. Peters Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be
‘made to the Clinton County
Nursing Home Patient Fund.

57, died Monday evening in the
Mary Fletcher Unit of the Medical
Center of Vermont in Burlington.
He was born Sept. 12, 1918 in
Cadyville; the-son of William and
Josephine (Coryer) Brault.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Florence Steere; five sons,
Raymond of St. Petersburg, Fla.,
Donald of Bellmaur, N.J., Bernard
of Morrisonvilie, Rolland of St.
Petersburg, Fla., and Gerald of
Dannemora; one daughter, Mrs.
Brad (Donna) Forkey of Morrisonvilie;
two brothers, Edward of
Beacon and James of Morrisonvilie,
and 11 grandchildren.
Calling hours at the O’Neill-
Reddin-Drown Funeral Home will
be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held at
10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph’s
Church in Dannemora. Burial will
be in St. James Cemetery in Cadyville.
In Heu of flowers, the family
requests that donations be made to
the American Cancer Society.

J. “Chink” Brault, 76. of
DeLord Street, died Monday.
Sept. 30. 1991. at the CVPH
Medical Center.
He was born in Cadyville Aug.
14. 1915. son of William and
Josephine (Coryer) Brault.
He was a veteran of World
War II. serving in the U.S. Army
27th Infantry Division from
Malone. Transferring to the 41st
Infantry Division, he served in
the South Pacific during World
War II. He was a Lifetime
member of the Veterans of
Foreign Wars Post 666 in
Beacon and a member of the
American Legion Post 20 in
Plattsburgh. He was a member
of St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Monica Gonyea of Plattsburgh;
two sons, William
Brault and Gary Brault. both of
Beacon; one brother. James
Brault of Plattsburgh; and several
nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
at the Brown Funeral Home in
Plattsburgh. Members of the
American Legion Post 20 will
meet Wednesday evening at 7
for services. A Mass of Christian
burial will be celebrated Thursday
at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s
Church. Burial will follow at
Whispering Maples Mausoleum
in Plattsburgh.
