CHAMPLAIN – Delia Nichols,
She died Sunday, Jan. 9, 1983, at the
CVPH Medical Center in Piattsburgh.
She was born in Coopersville on
May 18,1888, the daughter of Alfred
Trudell and Josephine Soillaut.She
worked 26 years in Our Lady of the
Adirondacks, St. Mary’s Mission
Center in Champlain,
Mrs. Nichols is survived by two
daughters, Miss Rita LaBombard of
Champlain and Mrs. Blanche Bilow
of Malone; one son, Vernon of
Burke; and several grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at her
residence on Oak Street on Tuesday
and Wednesday.
A funeral service is scheduled for
11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s
Church.
Burial will be in St. Edmund’s
Cemetery in Elienburg.
Donations in her memory can be
made to the mission center for the
Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Africa
and also for Father Joseph Mukasa
in Kampola. Uganda.

BURIED AT ELLENBURG

Funeral services for Mrs, Frank
(Miller) -74, who died July 7 at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Maynard
Labombard, Elenburg Center,
•were held in St. Edmund’s Church,
Ellenburg, on Monday morning. The
pastor, Rev. Lawrence E. Mallette,
was celetorant of the high Mass of
requiem.
The pallbearers were William Miller,
Melvln Tromtoly, Anian Dabombard,
Roy Rookey, Edward Dominic
and Earl Dominic. Interment took
place in the family plot in St. Edmund’s
cemetery.
Mrs. Miller, the former Miss Julia
Trudell, was a native of Cooperville,
She resided at Ellenburg for
42 years. Her husband died there
16 years ago.
Mrs. Miller -is survived by five
daughters and four-sons They are
Mrs. Joseph (Elizaibeth) Laitberte
of Acushoet, Mass, Mrs. Perry (Evelyn)
Neverette Chazy, Mrs. Maynard
(Sarah) Labombard and Mrs.
Clarence (Victoria) Labambard and
Mrs David (Irend) Rondo of Ellenburg,
George Labombard of Churubusco,
John, Arthur and Edmond Labambard
of Ellenburg , also one step daughter
Mrs Rose Thitiault of New Bedford , One
step son, Paul Miller of Massena, One
sister Mrs James Nichols of Champlain,
one brother Arthur Trudell of Chazy.

CHAMPLAIN — Arthur Trudell
81, died at tne home of hie sister,
Mrs. James Nichols, last night]
(Oct. 27, 1957).
He was born in Coopersville May
3, 1876, the son Of the late Alfred
and Josephine Sayan Trudell.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Ethel Pearl, of Chazy, and
one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Schoonmaker,
of Esperance; three sons,
Donald, of Delanson, Raymond, of
West Chazy and Kenneth, address
not listed; one sister, Mrs. James
Nichols, of Champlaln; and two
grandohildren.
Funeral services are incomplete.
The body Is at the Nichols home
in Champlain.
