Henry J. Barcomb
MALONE— Henry J. Barcomb,
87, died Wednesday night at the
Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone. He
was born Oct. 25, 1892, in the town
of Clinton, the son of John and
Elizabeth (Richards) Barcomb.
He was a farmer in the
Churubusco, Chateaugay and
Burke area, until he retired in
1966.
Survivors include: one brother,
Herbert of Rochester; one sister,
Mrs. Jennie Patnode of Massena;
a foster son Walter Patnode Jr. of
Wassaic; one foster daughter,
Vedora Hunter Maloney of
Chateaugay; four granchildren;
and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10
a.m. Friday at the George Church
in Burke. Burial will be in St.
Patrick’s Cemetery in Chateaugay

Whalen in September 1918. She predeceased him Jan
1975.
He was a farmer all his life until he retired in I9ftb Hc|

Survivng are a brother, Herbert of Rochester; a sister Jen
nie Patnode of Massena; a foster son, Walter Patnode |r “f|
Wassaic, N.Y.; a foster daughter, Vedora Hunter Malnnev of
Chateaugay; a granddaughter, Elaine Hunter O Connor of I
Chateaugay; three other grandchildren; six great grand
children and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Fred and four swers
Ella Melik, Viola, Mrs. Fred (Elizabeth) Marchant and Man
Funeral services were held Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Georges
Church, Burke with the Rev. Paul Beyette officiating Burial
in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Chateaugay.
