Mrs. Velma T. Seney
CHAZY LAKE – Mrs. Velma T.
Seney, 57, died Thursday morning
at the CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in Chazy Lake Dec-
18, 1920, the daughter of Clifford and
Louise Fournier.
 She leaves her husband,
Lawrence Seney Sr.; three sons,
Leo and Edward Seney of Chazy
•Lake and Lawrence Seney Jr. of
‘Saranac; a daughter, Mrs. Reginald
(Christine) Norcross of Plattsburgh;
two grandchildren; two
brothers, Roland and Roswell Fournier
of Chazy Lake; a sister, Mrs.
William (Rita) Morley of Orlando,
Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
. Calling hours will be today from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thomas A.
Rible Funeral Home in Dannemora.
Funeral services will be held at 11
a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s
Church in Dannemora.
Entombment will be in the parish
cemetery vault to await spring
burial.

Roswell A. Fournier
Ellenburg — Mr. Roswell A. Fournier, 73, of Route 374, Ellenburg Depot, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Dannemora, N.Y., on Aug. 6, 1929, the son of Clifford and Louise (Barber) Fournier.

Mr. Fournier was a member of the U.S. Air Force and served in Vietnam. He retired from the Air Force in 1974. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the North Country Vietnam Veterans Association.

Mr. Fournier had also been employed at Dannemora Ford as a parts manager.

Mr. Fournier is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Rowland and Vivian Fournier of Ellenburg Depot; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Seney of Ellenburg Depot; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Louise Fournier; three sisters, Phoebe Fournier, Rita Morley and Velma Seney.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Dannemora, where the Sorrell – Woodward American Legion Post 1623 of Lyon Mountain will provide full military honors.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home, Park Row, Cadyville.

In Memoriam

Frank Fournier, a well known and
respected resident of Chazy Lake died
suddenly at his home at 1:30 A. M., on
December 8, at the age of 52 years.
Although Mr. Fournier ihad been ailing
for the last fifteen years, his
death was a sorrowful surprise to
many.
In his home he was a kind and
loving husband and father, the -welfare
of his family being first in his
thoughts. His death brings sorrow
in a happy home and loving family,
and leaves a vacant place which never
can be filled.
He leaves to mourn his loss his
aged mother, his wife, two sons,., Clifford
and Datu’s, one daughter, Mrs.
B. Hulburt, two grandchildren and
two sisters, Mrs. ,J. Gannon and Mrs.
J. V. Cumm.
Interment was in St. Joseph’s cemetery,
Dann’emora, at 9 o’clock December 10

Fletcher Hospital, Burlington, Vt.
He is survived by his wife; a
daughter, Mrs. Richard Christian
of Boston. Mass.; a brother, Clif-
 ford Fournier of Chazy Lake, and
one grandchild. Funeral sevices
were at Port Henry Nov. 28.

CHAZY LAKE-Clifford Fournier,
71, of Chazy Lake died at
his home Saturday. He had been
a farmer in this area for many
years.
He was born May 24,1891
of Frank and Phoebe (King)
Fournier,
Mr. Fournier is survived by
two daughters. Mrs. William Morley
of Johnson City and Mrs.
Lawrence Seney of Chazy Lake
and two sons. Roland and Roswell
Fournier, both of Chazy Lake.
The body is at his home. A
Funeral Mass will be sung at 10
a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph’s
Church, Dannemora.

CHAZY LAKE-A Funeral Mass
was sung Tuesday in St. Joseph’s
Church, Dannemora, for Clifford
Fournier, who died Saturday at
his home here at the age of 71.
The Rt. Rev. Msgr Donald M.
Kelly, pastor of the church, celebrated
the Mass.
Philip and Raymond Varin,
Datus and Peter Dubrey, Roland
Yenne and Howard Coryer were
bearers
The body was placed in the
vault in the parish cemetery for
bunaf next spring.
