JOANNE L. DOBIE, 83, died at 4:15 p.m. Jan. 12, 2007, at Cridersville Nursing Home.

She was born June 26, 1923, in Wapakoneta to Albert and Louisa Geyer Schuler, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 11, 1961, she married Clyde E. Dobie, who survives.

Mrs. Dobie was a winder with Westinghouse Corp. for 20 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors also include a son, Gregory (special friend Beth Smith) Dobie, of Clawson, Mich.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert and Abner Schuler; three sisters, Dorothy M. Dietz, Salome Kottman and LaVera Lytle.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. Dr. Daniel Curtis will officiate Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire, Ohio.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
