Clarence J. Coryea, 77, died
Wednesday; March 14, 1990. at
his daughter’s residence in
. Cadyville.
He was born June 15, 1912, in
Altona, the son of Fred and
• Mary (Reyell) Coryea.
Mr. Coryea was employed for
39 years by the Clinton County
Highway Department. He was a
member of St. Edmunds Church
in Ellenburg and was a 4th
Degree member of the Knights
of Columbus.
Survivors include a daughter,
‘Mrs. James (Joann) Manley of
Cadyville; three sons, Clarence
Coryea Jr. of Ellenburg Depot,
Richard Coryea of Painted Post
and Roy Coryea of Plattsburgh;
a brother, Howard Coryea of
Chazy Lake; ten grandchildren
and ten great-grandchildren. His
wife, Lucille, died Nov. 27,1987.
Calling hours will be held at
. E.F. Drown Ellenburg from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral
services will be held at 9 a.m.
Friday at St. Edmund’s Church.
Burial will be in Holy Angels
Cemetery, Altona.

CHAMPLAIN – Mrs. Riith
Lamere, 82, died Thursday afternoon
at the home of her daughter,
Vivian, mChamplam.
She was born Aug. 1, 1898 in
Altona, the daughter of Fred and
Mary (Oryelle) Coryer.
She was the widow of Ben
Mrs. Lamere was a communicant
of St. Mary’s Church in Champlain.
She leaves five daughters, Mrs.
Horace (Yvonne) Yelle of East
Hampton, Mass., Mrs. Margaret
King of Chazy Lake, Mrs. Amos
(Bertha) Bushey of Altona, Mrs.
Peter (Vivian) Ashline of
Champlain and Mrs. Francis
(Gladys) Boulerice of Altona; two
brothers, Clarence Coryea of Ellenburg
Depot and Howard Coryer of
Chazy Lake; 18 grandchildren and
36 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be at the Drown
Funeral Home in Mooers today
from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. i
Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s
Church in Champlain.
Entombment will be in Holy
Angel Cemetery vault
awaiting spring burial.

CHAZY LAKE – Fred J Coryer
60 died unexpectedly at his home Friday.
A native of Altona he was born April 6 1906
son of Fred and Mary (Oryell) Coryer and had
resided at Chazy Lake for the Past 41 years
Mr Coryer was a fireman at the power plant of
Dannemora State Hospital.
He leaves his wife the former Jeannette King
a son Robert F of Plattsburgh a daughter Susam M
at home a grand-daughter, a sister Mrs. Ruth Lamere
of Mooer Forks and Three brothers John of Beekmantown
Clarence of Ellenburg Depot and Howard of Chazy Lake
Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday in St Joseph;s
Church Dannemora with burial in church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Thomas Rible Funeral Home
Dannemora, from 2 p.m today.
