Survivors include, two daughters, Sandra K. Fair, Wapakoneta, Linda (George) Grillot, New Bremen, grandchildren, Debra Fair, Kelsey Grillot, Troy Grillot, Danae (Richard) Cockerham, Sherri, Richard W. and David W. Kupper, great grandchildren, Lovena, Ashley, Christopher, Matthew, Cody, Victoria, Norah, Olivia, Cooper, Zebulon, Eva Agnes, Kenneth, Caleb, Alysia, Joseph and William, two sisters, Dorothy Leugers, Wapakoneta, Catherine “Katie” Leugers, Botkins.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wesley L. Kupper, three stepdaughters, Rosealee Ann, Rita Carol, and Kathleen Gay Sexton, two grandchildren, Chad Grillot and Juanita Fair, a great grandson, Lennon, and two brothers, Leroy and Robert Kupper.
Richard had retired from G.A. Wintzer and Son, Wapakoneta, after 44 years service. He was also owner and operator of Dick’s Recycling, Wapakoneta. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, and volunteered with the annual Fourth of July Festival. He enjoyed go-cart racing with his family, but most of all he always would lend a “helping hand” to anyone in need.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Daniel Hunt officiating following information about Mass. Burial is to follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
The family will receive friends 2-8 p.m., Tuesday, and 9-9:45 a.m., Wednesday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, state Route 501, Wapakoneta.
