Death Roll is Heavy

Mrs. Ellen Welch
After an illness  covering a period of
abodt three years, Mrs. Ellen (Fennell)
Welch died at her home just north of
this village on Tuesday afternoon A the
age of 62 years, she was born in
Ireland and came to this country when six
Years of age, settling with her parents in
Ellenburgh. About forty-four years ago she
was united in marriage to the Late Patrick
Welch. and has since made her home in
Mrs Welch Possessed all the virtues
that went to make up a good wife, a tender
mother and a kind and obliging neighbor, and
in her death not alone dones the immediate
family feel the pangs of deep sorrow, but also
do all whom enjoyed her acqusintance. She is
survived by two daughters, Mrs Frank Powers,
and Miss Ellen Welch and Two sons Michael P
and John Welch of Chateaugay. Funeral services
were held at St. Patrick’s church on Thursday
morning at 10 O’clock, Rev E,G, Brice officiating.

WELCH—In Chateaugay, Feb. 4, Mrs.
Ellen Welch, aged 62 years.
Mrs. Welch camo from Ireland at the
age of six yearis and ever since her
married to the late Patrick Welch 44
years ago had resided in Chateaugay.
She is survived by two daughters and
two sons Mrs. Frank Powers, Miss
Ella Welch, Michael P. and John Weich,
all of Chateaugay
