Mildred A Miller

Mildred A. Schoen, age 94, of Coldwater, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater. She was born March 14, 1922, in Trinity, Indiana, to the late Aloys & Catherine (Wilhoff) Miller. On November 20, 1946, she married Louis B. Schoen, who died June 2, 1989.

She is survived by a daughter, Joan & Jim Shane of Coldwater, five grandchildren, Brian Kaylor, Joelle Curiel, Abigail Rimmer, Rodney Schoen, and Amanda Zimmerman, seven great-grandchildren, Lexi, Lucas, Daniel, Olivia, Aisha, Leyton and Hunter, a great-great-grandchild, Zoe, a brother, Raymond & Phyllis Miller of Celina and in-laws, Ludwina Miller of Coldwater, and Pauline Hess of Coldwater. She is preceded in death by a son, William J. Schoen, siblings Florentine Loy, Asella Muhlenkamp, Sylvester Miller, Sr. DePaul Miller, Sr. Magdaline Miller, Adaline Wagner and Jerome Miller.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater and St. Ann’s Ladies Sodality.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Alberta Cecil Hamp, 86, of Connersville, Ind. and formerly of Wapakoneta, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at her residence. Alberta Cecil Hamp, 86, of Connersville, Ind. and formerly of Wapakoneta, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at her residence.
Born Dec. 22, 1923, in Wapakoneta, she was the daughter of John and Agnes Dobie Miller, who preceded her in death. On July 24, 1943, she married Paul Edward Hamp, of Wapakoneta, who preceded her in death Sept. 9, 1989.
She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Bernard and Virgil Miller.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon (David) Helmlinger, of Wapakoneta; two sons, David Hamp, of Wapakoneta and Dennis (Donna) Hamp, of Alquina, Ind.; three grandchildren, Darcy (Chad) Coates, of Wapakoneta; Mark (Kelly) Helmlinger, of Delaware and Thad (Deanna) Helmlinger, of Hart, Mich.; six great-grandchildren,  Tiffany Helmlinger, Trisha, Amber and Brandon Coates, Erika and Jerod Helminger; four nieces; three nephews and several cousins.
Alberta was one of three children. She attended school in Wapakoneta and graduated from Wapakoneta High School.
She and Paul raised three children, Sharon, Dale and Dennis and in 1968, they moved to Connersville for residence.
She was a loving homemaker. In her leisure, she enjoyed reading and working in her flower garden and spending time with her family.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, 1704 N. Grand Ave., Connersville, Ind., with the Rev. Christopher Millay officiating.
Burial will be in Dale Cemetery in Connersville, Ind.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in care of the funeral home to the Epilepsy Foundation.

May 31 at the Physicians
Unit of the Medical Center after
a short illness.
He was born in Altona Feb. 16,
1884, the son of Izare and Ida
(Oriel) Miller.

Mrs. Ida Cayea of Ellenburg Depot,
Mrs. Richard (Millie) Varon
of Tefunlak Springs, Fla., Mn.
Clayton (Edith) LaFountaln of
Deerfield, Mass., and Mrs. Elmer
(Agnes) Seguin of Ellenburg Depot;
two sons, Charles and William,
both of Ellenburg Depot;
two brothers, Emmett of Ellenburg
Depot and Frank of Saranac
Lake; four sisters, Mrs. Francis
(Sophia) Breyette of Plattsburgh,
Mrs. Ida Ayotte of Titlon, N. H.,
Mrs. Ethel Beabeneault of New
Market, N. H., and Mrs. Anna
Teryea of Peru; 15 grandchildren
and 36 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held
Tuesday at 10 A.M. in St. Edmund’s
Church with Rev, Gilbert
Faucher officiating. Burial was In
the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eugene, Mack
and Ronnie Miller, Chare Is Lafountain,
James Cayea and Craig
Miller.

Mrs. Lydia Gonyea

A funeral service will be held
Wednesday at 9 a. m. at St.
Alphonsus Catholic Church in
Tupper Lake for Mrs. Lydia
Gonyea, 66, who died early Monday
morning at Mercy General
Hospital. Burial will be in the
parish,cemetery in the spring.
She had been confined to the
hospital about one day.
Mrs. Gonyea was born in
Lyon Mt .Junction on Sept, 25,
1897 the daughter of John and
Arelia LaMere Miller. Her husband
Wilfred Gonyea died in
Tupper Lake hi 1961.
Survivors include five sons,
Louis, Richard, Leonard and
Gordon, all of Tupper Lake, and
Maynard of Great Falls, Mont.;
27 grandchildren; one greatgrandchild;
one sister, Emma
LaPorte of Inlet; two brothers,
William Miller of Inlet and Andrew
Miller of Tupper Lake.
The body will repose at the
time -of-the services.

Arthur Miller, 84. died Wednesday,
Nov. 1, 1989, at the Clinton
County Nursing Home.
He was born March 30, 1905,
in North Adams, Mass., the son
of Frank and Julia (Trudell)
Miller.
Mr. Miller was a dairy farmer
in the area for many years.
 Survivors include two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Raymond (Genevieve)
Tavernier of Dannemora and
Merrilda Inghram of Mayfield,
Ky.; a son, Alger Miller of
Mayfield, Ky; a brother. Edmund
Miller of Churubusco;
three sisters, Sarah LaBombard
of Ellenburg Center Elizabeth
Liberte of Massachusetts and
Evelyn Neverett of Mooers;
eight grandchildren and a
great-grandson.
Calling hours will be held 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at E.F.
Drown Ellenburg. Funeral services
will be held at 10 a.m.
Saturday in St. Edmund’s
Church.
Burial will be in St. Edmund’s
Cemetery, Ellenburg.

home.
She was born Dec. 23, 1912, in
Ellenburg, the daughter of
Frank and Julia (Trudell) Miller.
She was a member of the St.
Edmund’s Altar and Rosary
Society.
Mrs. LaBombard is survived
by two sons, James LaBombard
and Eugene LaBombard, both of
Ellenburg Center; two brothers,
Arthur Miller of Tennessee and
Edmund Miller of Churubusco;
three sisters, Sarah LaBombard
of Ellenburg Center, Evelyn
Neverett of Mooers and
Elizabeth Liberty of
Massachusetts; 10 grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren..
One son, Robert LaBombard,
died in 1974. Her husband,
Clarence LaBombard, died in
1978.
Calling hours will be held at
the E.F. Drown Funeral Home
in Ellenburg Depot from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. today. A funeral
service will be held at 10 a.m.
Thursday at St. Edmunds
Church. Burial will be in St.
Edmund’s Cemetery in -the spring.

Mrs. Oakes graduated from
Ellenburg^ schools and was a
member of Notre Dame Church
in Malone.
She is survived one son.
