Guy C. Hackett
PLATTSBURGH – Guy C.
Hackett, 83, of 19 Delord St.,
. died Thursday, June 4, 1992, at
the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Saranac, Dec.
15, 1908, the son of Robert and
Melvina (Leno) Hackett.
A machinist, Mr. Hackett
retired from Accurate Die
Casting Co. in .Manlius after
more than 30 years of service
with the company. Prior to his
employment with the Accurate
Die Casting Co., he had worked
at the Norwood School in Lake
Placid. At one time Mr. Hackett
had owned his own barber shop.
He was a communicant and
member of St. Peter’s Church.
Survivors include his wife, the
former Florence (Seney) Gonyea
of Plattsburgh; a son, John
Hackett of Shasta, Calif.; two
daughters, Mary Lou Gallinger of
Frankfort and Laura Reinsmith
of Cutten, Calif.; a sister Mrs.
Robert (Lillian) Allison of Liverpool;
and three grandsons.
Calling hours will be held at
the convenience of the family. A
Mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. at
St. Peter’s Church with burial in
St. Agnes Cemetery in Lake
Placid.
Memorial donations may be
made to St. Peter’s Capital Im-
provement Fund.
