News Death Notice
GIBSON, Cleatis H. Hoot Age 76 of Butler Twp. passed away Saturday, February 07, 2009. He was a US Army veteran. He worked for Dayton Press, United Color Press, McCalls for 24 years and retired from Graphic Packaging. Cleatis was the owner and proprietor of the Jake Gibson Saw Sharpening Company. He was a member of St. Christophers Catholic Church. Preceded in death by a sister Nettie Irene and a brother Jesse. Survived by his wife of 52 years Dorothy H. (Trick) Gibson, daughter Jamie Lynn Gibson of Englewood, 2 sons James (Tammy) of N. Lebanon, Robert of Dayton, 3 grandchildren Kenyon, Chelsea and Arianna, 1 great grandson Tucker Gibson, 4 sisters Doris Bentley of Milestone, KY, Mildred Meade of Wyattsburg, KY, Erma Lea Trapp of Crete, IL, Barbara Lawson of20Ezel, KY, 3 brothers William of Ezel, KY, Jimmy Ray of Portage, IN, Thomas of Moorehead, KY. Cleatis was an avid hunter and fisherman and he truly loved his grandchildren and his family. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Christophers Catholic Church in Vandalia by Father Frank Keferel. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Baker- Hazel & Snider Funeral Home & Crematory 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N.
