Thomas Ambrose Trick 83, of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Belle Manor. He was born on December 11, 1931 the son of the late Clarence and Josephine (Logel) Trick. He married his wife of 29 years Charlotte (Wisecup) Trick on December 1, 1951 in Dayton, OH. Thomas was a farmer and enjoyed being a craftsman. He loved his family, he loved going fishing with his brother Art, and gardening. He was a devoted Catholic at St. Patrick’s and Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his children, Deborah (Keith) Burchett, Ronald (Jamie) Trick, Julie Trick, Susan (Dale) Horvath, Mary Ann (Charlie) Mumford; brothers, Joe and Donald Trick; Sisters, Evelyn Newmaier, Martha Chapman, Dorthy Gibson, and Charlotte Tiller; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer Raike, Angela Lewis, Cheryl Thompson, Krystal Taylor, Beverly Bereczky, Ronald Trick Jr., Elizabeth Fields, Dale Horvath Jr., Andrew Horvath, Abbie Linden, Tyler Mumford, Taler Mumford; 23 great-grandchildren; his friends and loving caregivers at Belle Manor. In addition to his parents Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; sister, Mary Kirby; brother, Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-8 PM, Friday, July 4, 2014 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, OH. A Mass of Christian burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 AM, Saturday, July 5, 2014. Burial will follow at the Medway Cemetery.
