Beekman Court died Saturday,
March 9, 1991, at the CVPH
Medical Center.
He was born in Saranac on
Oct, 31, 1914, the son of Fred
and Victoria (LaPan) St. Louis.
On Nov. 10, 1984, he married
Flora G. (LaClair) LaPoint in St.
Bernard’s Church in Lyon*
Mountain. He was previously
married to the former Hazel
Brunell, who died March 9,1983.
Mr. St. Louis retired in 1971
from New York State Electric &
Gas, where he had been a supervisor,
after 31 years with
NYSEG an4 previously with
Niagara Mohawk. He had served
with the U.S. Army during
World War II.
He was a member of the Plattsburgh
Lodge of Elks; was on
the Board of Directors of the
Senior Citizens Council; was a
fourth-degree knight and a
member of the Plattsburgh
Council 255 of the Knights of
Columbus; and was a member of
St. John’s Church
Besides his wife he is survived
by a sister, Mrs. Marie Goddeau
of Cadyville; two brothers.
rEdgar St. Louis and Leonard St.
Louis, both -of Schenectady;
three stepdaughters, Judy
Noreault of Merrill and Jerri
Hilliker and Mrs. Albert (Elaine)
LaTour, both of Plattsburgh;
one stepson, Dan LaPoint of
Plattsburgh; nine grandchildren,
four great-grandchildren and
• several nieces and nephews. His
brother, Joseph St. Louis, died
earlier. A stepson, Donald La-
Point, died in 1989.
Calling hours will be today
from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m.
at the R.W. Walker Funeral
Home. Members of the Plattsburgh
Lodge of Elks will meet
for ritualistic services tonight at
7:30 at the funeral home. The
Knights of Columbus will meet
at 7:45 p.m. Funeral services will
be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St.
John’s Church. Burial will be in
Mt. Carmel Cemetery in the
I spring.
