KEESEVILLE — Arnold L. Garrow, 60, of Keeseville, died Thursday March 29, 2001, at the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Jan. 13, 1941, the son of Alexander and Mable (Bressette) Garrow.
Mr. Garrow was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church. He also was a member of the AFL/CIO Local 4912 in Rochester and a member of CSEA. He was a former member of the Holy Spirit Church in Webster and a former member of the Plattsburgh Volunteer Rescue Squad. He worked for the Rochester Psychiatric Hospital for 21 years until his retirement in 1979.
Survivors include his wife, the former Suzanne Renz of Webster; three sons, Arthur Garrow, Peter Garrow and Michael Garrow, all of Webster; two daughters and one son-in-law, Margaret and William Putt of Rochester and Patricia Garrow of Webster; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Leeward and Peggy Garrow of Peru, Anthony and Sylvia Garrow of Keeseville, Ross Garrow of Schuyler Falls, Ralph and Laura Garrow of Plattsburgh and Ronald Garrow of Plattsburgh; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Eleanor Trombley of Plattsburgh, Gloria and Robert Kennedy of Plattsburgh and Linda LaPier of South Glens Falls; four grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Jamie and Jenna Putt; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Howard Garrow, in 2000.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a vigil service at 3 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, April 2, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church.
Burial will be at a later date in the spring.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Lung Association.
