George LaFountain

BEEKMANTOWN —. George
LaFountain, 76, formerly of Ellenburg
Center, died Friday in the
Clinton County Home.
Mr. LaFountain was bom in
Ellenburg Depot on May 8,1898, the
son of Peter and Angela LaFountain.
Survivors include three sons,
Clifford LaFountain of Plattsburgh,
James LaFountain of Peru
and Harold LaFountain of Holyoke,
Mass.; four daughters, Mrs.
Lincoln (Emma) Collins of Cadyville,
Mrs. William (Annie) Collins
of West Chary, Mrs, Harold
(Hazel) Stone of Plattsburgh and
Mrs Leo (Hattie) Bertrand of
Cadyville; one brother William
LaFountain of Gansevoort; two
sisters; Mrs. Hattie Cayea of Oakfield
and Mrs. Ephren (Mary)
Pilon of Chazy, 45 grandchildren,
33 great-grandchildren, one great
great-grandchild—and—several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held
today at 10 a.m at St. Edmunds
Church in Ellenburg Corners.
Burial will be in the Parish  Cemetary
next Spring.
