Bazile Patenaude
Died Sunday
After Long illness

B a z i l e Patenaude, of this
village, died at the Alice Hyde
Hospital, Malone, on Sunday
morning at 6:30 o’clock. Mr.
Patenaude had bean ill for a
long time-
The deceased was born in
Clinton, N. Y„ January 3, 1890;
a son of the late Bernard and
Lumlna (Jarvls) Patenaude
His younger days were spent at
Franklin Ceriter, Que., where he
received his early education.
With his family they moved here
a b o u t twenty five years ago.
The deceased was a painter and
carpenter and worked at these
occupations. Later on he was
employed by the Republic Steel
Corporation at Lyon Mountain-
He r e t i r e d f r o m active labor
five years ago.
Mr. Patenaude was a devout
Catholic, an honest and industrious
man, devoted to his home
and family ties and he will be
sadly missed.
On January 7, 1914, his marriage
to Miss Florence Ezro
took place at St. Patrick’s Church
in Hinchinbrooke, Que.
Surviving are his widow and
four daughters, two sons: Mrs.
Leo (Luminal LeCIair, Merrill;
Mrs. H e n r y (Lavina) Boyea,
Chateaugay; Raymond P. Patenaude,
Mlnevtlle; Mrs. Arthur
(Leonai Boyea. Witherbee; Mrs.
John (Gracei Ryan, Chateaugay;
Ernest at home; 29 grandchildren
and 8 great grandchilden.
He also leaves two sisters and
three brolhers: Mary Emond,
‘ av’iw Patenaude. John. Alex,
and Henry Patenaude. all reslleits
of Huntingdon. Que
Funeral services were held at
St. Patrick’s Church on Wedne-
wiay morning. Burial
made in the church cemetery
