James E. Barber
CADYVILLE – James E.
Barber, 72, Cadyville died Monday,
April 25, 1988, at the
CVPH Medical Center.
He was a communicant of St.
James Minor Church in
Cadyville, a member of the
Eugene G. Santor Council No.
4689 Knights of Columbus in
Keeseville and a fourth-degree in
the Bishop Wadhams Assembly.
Mr. Barber was in the U.S.
Army during World War II with
the highly decorated 137 th
“SignatCd. ——~
He worked for the Montgomery
Ward Company until he
retired.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Lillian Hamlin of
Cadyville; two brothers, Andrew
Barber of Raymondville, N.Y.,
and Richard V. Barber of Plattsburgh;
one aunt, and several
nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be today
from 2 to 4 arid 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Hamilton Funeral Home in
Plattsburgh.
A funeral service will be held
at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St.
John the Baptist Church in
Keeseville.
Burial will follow in the parish
cemetery.
