Eli LaValley


LaValley, 87, died Saturday night

in CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born Nov. 16, 1889,

the son of Benjamin and Cylinda

(Gadway) LaValley of Mooers


He was an honorary member of

the Knights of Columbus, Council

3525 Champlain, and a member of

the Plattsburgh Council Fourth

degree Knights of Columbus,

Bishop Wadhams General


Survivors include one son,

Hector LaValley; two daughters,

Mrs Delma (Cylinda) Hebert and

Mrs. Edward (Lizzie) Brassard,

both of Mooers Forks; one stepson,

Robert Graves of Mooers Forks;

one step-daughter, Shirley’

Rabideau of Plattsburgh; 21

grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren

and seven great-greatgrandchildren.

Calling hours will be at the

Drown Funeral Home here where

friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to

9 p.m. today and Tuesday.

Services wiH be held at 11 a.m.

Wednesday in St. Ann’s Church

here. Burial will be in the spring
