John J. Lavalley
John J. Lavalley, 73, Beekmantown,
died early yesterday morning
at the Champlain VaUey Hospital
after a long illness. Mr. Lavalley
was a native of Mooers Forks and
a carpenter by trade.
Survivors include his wife, the
former Agnes Miller, three sons,
Edward, Zephie and Amos all of
Beekmantown, seven daughters,
Mrs. Michael Santorl of Plattsburgh,
Mrs. Maurice Hebert of
Champlain, Mrs. Benjamin Nephew
Jr. of West Chazy, Mrs. George
Blades of Kalamazoo, Mich., Mrs.
Orville Mooso and Mrs. Alex
Nephew both of West Chazy.
Mrs. Mildred Gagnier of Beekmantown,
Moses Lavalley of Potsdam,
Eli Lavalley of Mooers Forks
and William of Pinebrook, N.J.
also two sisters, Mrs. Celina Lavalley
of Mooers Forks and Mrs
Denid Hebert of Plattsburgh, 45
grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday
at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s
Church in West Chazy followed by
burial in the church cemetery.
The body Is at the residence
where the Rosary Society of St.
Joseph’s Church will meet Friday
evening at 8 to recite prayers
