Blaise A. Rasco
Saranac ? Blaise A. Rasco, 61, of Silver Lake Road, died Friday, July 25, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center.

He was born in Saranac on Dec. 28, 1937, the son of Frederick and Yvonne (Sidney) Rasco.

Blaise was a member of the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Blaise worked many different trades; he was a pruner for the apple orchards, millworker, truck driver, carpenter and most recently, a stone mason.

Survivors include one son, Shawn Rasco of Boston; two daughters, Lorraine Rasco of Plattsburgh and Debbie Matzger of Champlain; five brothers, Mark of Plattsburgh, Marshall of Saranac, Timothy of Keene, Thomas of Saranac and Paul of Cadyville; three sisters, Eleanor of Rhinebeck, Judy of Cadyville and Mae of Saranac; six grandchildren, Austin, Kolby, Brittany, Tasha, Brandon, Ciara and Jayden.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Church of Assumption in Redford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Donations may be made to the Assumption of Mary School.
