Miss Alice B. Riley

KEESEVILLE — Funeral services
for Miss Alice B. Riley of 28
Chesterfield St., Keeseville, were
held Friday at St. Mary’s Church in
Brushton.
Msgr. Patrick B. Riley, her
brother, concelebrated the mass
along with 14 area priests.
Burial was in the family lot in the
parish cemetery.
Miss Riley died unexpectedly
Sept. 5 at the CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in North Bangor, the
daughter of the late Thomas and Anna
(McGowan) Riley. She had lived
most of her life in North Bangor,
having moved to Keeseville four
years ago.
She was a member of the Altar
and Rosary Society of both St.
Marys Church in Brushton and Immaculate
Conception Church in
Keeseville. She was also a member
of the Catholic Daughters of
America and the Keeseville Senior
Citizens.
Besides her brother, who resides
in Potsdam, she leaves four sisters.
Sister M. Ursula of Plattsburgh.
Sister M. Margarita of Lake Placid,
Mrs. L.W. (Genevieve) Davies of
Keeseville and Ursula Riley of
Schenectady; several nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by
three brothers, James, Lawrence
and Peter, and a sister, Mrs. Martin
(Elizabeth) Curran
