MOOERS – Eldemore
DeCoste, 84, of Mooers, died
Tuesday, Nov. 5, 1991, at the
CVPH Medical Center in Platt*
He was born July 17, 1907, in
St. Chrysestome, Quebec, the
son of Nazaire and Deliose
{GeBault) DeCoste.
Mr. DeCoste was a former
farmer. He owned and operated
the Rockland Inn and also
DeCoste Liquor Store in Mooers.
Survivors include eight sons,
Victor DeCoste of Burlington,
Vt., Esmond DeCoste, Lionel
DeCoste, Arthur DeCoste and
Gary DeCoste of Mooers, Marcel
DeCoste of Mooers Forks, Leon
DeCoste of West Chazy, and
Lawrence DeCoste of East
Greenbush; three daughters.
Mrs. Samuel (Rita) DeMarais of
Ellenburg Depot, Mrs. Michael
(Sandra) Bechard of Chazy and
Mrs. Wayne (Linda) Supernaw of
Mooers; one brother. Oswald
DeCoste of Ogdensburg: 42
grandchildren and 27 greatgrandchildren.
His wife. Bertha,
and one son, Raymond, died
Calling hours will be held today
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service
in Mooers. A Mass of Christian
burial will be held Thursday
at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s
Church. Burial * will be in
Whispering Maples Memorial
Gardens Mausoleum in Ellenburg
Memorial donations may be
made to the Mooers Rescue
