Rose Facto (Facteau)

Mrs. Rose A. Champagne, widow
of the late John Champagne,
died in the Sacred Heart
Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.
early Sunday morning after a
long illness. Mrs. Champagne
was born in Saranac. June 30,
1878. daughter of the late Andrew
and Julia Drolet Facto.
She has made her home in
Plattsburgh most of her life.
She is survived by six sons:
John Champagne, of Albany;
Frederick Champagne, West
Palm Beach. Fla ; and Leo,
Dennis, Francis and William
Champagne all of Plattsburgh
Also surviving are 11 grand-
children, 15 great-grandchildren
and one brother, Joseph Facto
of Plattsburgh.
Mrs. Champagne was a member
of the Gold Star Mothers,
, Altar-Rosary Society of Ouri
Lady of Victory Church and St.
Peter’s Church, and the Auxiliary
of St. Jean D’Baptiste.
The body is at the Brown Funeral
Home where friends may
call between the hours of 2 to 4
and 7 to 9. Funeral Mass will be
sung at Our Lady of Victory
Church Tuesday morning at 9
a.m. Burial will be in St. Peter’s
Cemetery.
