B. Jarvis, 83,
dies in Syracuse

Benjamin Jarvis, 83, of Camlllus,
N. Y. died Friday, February
19th at a Nursing Home
following a long Illness,
Born in Chateaugay, a son of
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jarvis, he
lived in this area until two years
ago when he moved to Camlllus
He was employed at the Aluminum
Company of Massena until
his retirement several years ago.
He was married to Miss Mamie
Blair who predeceased him in
1969.
 Surviving are two sons, Marvin
B. and Clarence R. Jarvis,
both of Rome; four daughters,
Mrs, Loretta Martin and Mrs,
Marjorie Button, both of
Camillus, Mrs, Maureen Brown
and Mrs, Joan Robare, both of
Rome; a brother, Theodore Jarvis
of Springfield, Mass.; 33
grand-children and 36 great grand-
children.
Services were held Monday at
the B.L. Bush and Sons Funeral
Home, 10 Genesee St., Camillus,
and at 9 a,m, in St. Joseph’s
Church, Camillus. Spring burial
will be in St, Mary’s Cemetery.
