MRS. FLOYD P. CHENEY

Mrs. Floyd P. Cheney wife of
Floyd P. Cheney died suddenly at
her home In Deferiet, N. Y.f Thure
day evening, March 15, 1928.
Mrs. Cheney was born in Cheru
busco, Clinton County, New York.
She was the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Peter Patnode. She came to
Deferiet with her husband six
years ago, from Newton Falls. Surviving
are her husband, Floyd P.
Cheney, five children, Frances ,9,
William 8, Edward 5, Lawrence 4,
and Mary Alice ten days old all
at Deferiet; her mother Mrs. Peter
Patnode of Ellenburg Center, five
sisters Mrs. F. E. Regmier of
Springfield, Mass.; Mrs. Lawrence
Broderick of Chateaugay; Mrs. Otis
Brothers of Chazy Miss Martha
Patnode of Ellenburg and Miss
Stella Patnode of Schenectady;
four brothers, Edmund, Samuel.
Willliam of Ellenburg and Clarence
of Churubusco.
Funeral services were held Monday
morning at 10 o’clock from St.
Rita’s Catholic church at Deferiet,
Rev. Father Hoblia Burns officiating.
The body was placed in the
vault at Fairview cemetery in Car-
thage, New York
