Hurbert E Gagnier

Hubert E. Gagnier
Gagnier, 81, died Monday, Dec.
4, 1989, in Mary Fletcher Unit
of the Medical Center Hospital
of Vermont in Burlington.
He was born April 8, 1908, in
Churubusco, the son of Edgar
and Jeanette (Patenaude)
Mr. Gagnier was a Fourth
Degree Member of the Knights
of Columbus, a former member
of the Kiwanis Club, treasurer of
the Churubusco Fire Dept. and a
member for many years. He and
his brother, Edgar, owned and
operated Gagnier Brothers
Potato Farm in Churubusco until
his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, the
former Irene Patnode; a daughter,
Mrs. Richard (Elaine) Harrica
of Dannemora; three
brothers, Gerard Gagnier of
Rochester, James Gagnier of
Bethesda, Md., and Edgar
Gagnier of Churubusco; four
sisters, Sister Annette Gagnier
of Kennington, Md., Albertine
Griffith of Long Island, Evelyn
Kissane of Chateaugay and
Sister Regina Gagnier of Wilmington,
Del.; and four grandchildren,
Bree, Shann, Pat and Jon.
Calling hours will be held at
-O’Neill-Redden-Drown -Funeral
Home in Dannemora today from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral
services will be held Thursday at
9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church,
Dannemora. Burial will be in St.
Edmund’s Cemetery, Ellenburg,
this spring.
Memorial donations may be
made to the Dannemora Fire
Dept. Rescue Squad.
