Dairy Farmer, Dies

Ellenburg Center- Edmund
Patnode dairy farmer of
the town of Ellenburg, died at the
Champlain Valley Hospital in
Plattsburgh Friday at the age of
Mr Patnode , a lifelong resident
of the county was born at Churubusco
August 17, 1880 a son of
Peter and Delia (Gagnier) Patnode
He is survived aby his widow the former
Cora Labarre, whom he married
in 1907 four sons and three daughters
The sons are James of Ellenburg Center
Lawrence of Massena, Bernard of Dannemora
Francis Patnode of Saranac ,The
daughter are Mrs John (Beatrice) Phillips
of Saranac, Mrs Ernest (Marguerite) Kelley
Of Keene Valley and Mrs Gerbert (Irene)
Gagnier of Churubusco
Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and two
Great grandchildren, Two brothers
William Panode of Ellenburg Depot and
Clarence Patnode of Rouses Point
four sisters, Mrs. Starr Campbell
of Glens Falls, Mrs. Bessie Broderiek
of St. Albans, Vb, Mrs. Fred
Maggini of Larchmont and Mrs.
Otis Brothers of Plattsburgh.
The body is at the Drown Funeral
Home. Ellenburg Depot. Funeral
services are scheduled at St
Edmunds Church. Monday morning
at 9:30 . The body will be placed in the
vault in the parish cemetery.
