Violet Hackett
AuSABLE FORKS – Violet
Hackett, 74, died Monday, March
30, 1992, at CVPH Medical
Center, Plattsburgh.
She was born July 4, 1917, in
Clayburg, the daughter of Victor
and Margarete (LaFountain)
Betters.
Survivors include three sons,
Kenneth Hackett Sr. and
William Hackett, both of AuSable
Forks, and Thomas Hackett of
Jay; three daughters, Linda
Whitcomb and Dale Walton, both
of AuSable Forks, and Donna
Hackett of Peru; two sisters,
Rose Sheffield of AuSable Forks
and Marie Parrotte of Saranac;
14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Her husband,
Wilroer H. Hackett, died earlier.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral services will be Wednesday
at 10 a.m. at Holy Name
Church in AuSable Forks. Burial
will be at a later date in Assumption
of Mary Cemetery in Redford.
Memorial donations may be
made to the AuSable Forks Volunteer
Ambulance Service.
Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral
Home is in charge of arrangements.
