Ody D Laclair

Oby D. LaClair;
Oby D. LaClair, 72, died Sunday,
July 14, 1985, at the CVPH
Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born March 5, 1913, in
Ellenburg Center, the son of Eli
and Edna (Trombley) LaClair.
LaClair was a dairy farmer in
the Ellenburg area all his life, a
member of St. Edmund’s Church
and an avid draft horseman.
His wife, Helen, died in April
1984. His son John died in
Feburary 1970. *
He is survived by three sons,
James LaClair of Churubusco,
Julian LaClair of Ellenburg
Center, and Jerome LaClair of
Amenta; two daughters, Mrs.
Barry (Joan) Butts of Dover
Plains, and Mrs. Raymond
(Jeanne) Johnson of Satellite
Beach, Fla.; four brothers,
Floyd LaClair of Port Crane,
Maynard LaClair of Utica and
Owen and Ovid LaClair of Ellenburg
Center; and one sister, Mrs.
Lawrence (Ula) Smith of Ellenburg
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9
p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7
