Edgar T. Hackett
Edgar T. Hackett, 68. of Oak
St, a retired plumber, was
found dead in his apartment
Tuesday night by city police,
after thev were summoned by
Mr. Hackett s landlady.
She decided to call police after
she had not seen Mr. Hackett
for the past few days. County
Coroner Dr. Dana Weeks
attributed death to natural
causes.
Mr. Hackett is survived by
his wife, the former Vivian Lorange.
who  was away visiting at
the time; one daughter. Mrs.
Owen Baxter of South River,
N.J.; four brothers, Lawson of
Detroit. Mich., Kenneth of Loon
Lake, Burton of Cadyville and
Malcolm of Plattsburgh; six
sisters, Mrs. Clayda Revore of
Dannemora, Mrs. Valeda Primier
of Saranac, Mrs. Veredith
Tyndall of Dannemora, Mrs
Viola Doqqette of Cadyville,
Mrs. Vivian Hackett and Mrs.
Valery Demo, both of Plattsburgh
 Also surviving are two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday
at 9 a.m. at St. Peter’s
Church with burial in the parish
cemetery.
Friends may call at the
O’Neill-Redden Funeral Home
starting at 2 this afternoon.
