Francis R. Barber
Morrisonville , Francis R. Barber, 73, of Morrisonville, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born at Chazy Lake on July 6, 1931, the son of Andrew and Lorena (DuBrey) Barber.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 and was employed at SUNY Plattsburgh as a labor supervisor for over 34 years.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mildred (Trudeau) Barber; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jeffrey Skinner of Jay; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lori Barber of Cortland; a brother and sister-in-law, Bernard and Dorothy Barber of Morrisonville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bernadette and Calvin Favro of Cadyville and Genevieve and Ronald LaDuke of Cadyville; four grandchildren, Emil Bove III, Midshipman Vincent Bove, Robin and Alexa Barber; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents died before him.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29 from Holy Angels Church in Altona. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Holy Angels Church Building Fund.

The O’Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh is in charge of arrangements.
