MINEVILLE, N.Y. — Donald R. Boyea Sr., age 67, died at his home in Mineville, N.Y., early Sunday morning, Nov. 25, 2007. He was born in Ellenburg, N.Y., May 2, 1940, the son of the late Peter and Lena (LaClair) Boyea.
On July 1, 1961, he was united in marriage to the former Elizabeth Trombley at St. George’s Church in Burke, N.Y.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his garage and fishing.
Donald is survived by his daughter, Carol Boyea of Mineville; his two sons, Donald R. Boyea Jr. and Peter E. Boyea, also of Mineville; his three grandchildren, Elizabeth Montville of Morrisonville, N.Y., Robert Rancour Jr. of Plattsburgh, and Brandon Boyea of Mineville; great-grandchildren, Brexton and Reese Montville of Morrisonville, N.Y.; his sisters, Marie Morehouse of Baldwinsville, N.Y., Shirley Allen of Mineville, N.Y., and Catherine Trombley of Plainville, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Trombley) Boyea; sister, Celinda Boyea; and brothers-in-law, Harold Allen and Leo Boyea.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 9 a.m. at Church of All Saints in Mineville, N.Y. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Moriah, N.Y.
