Sister Agnes Seney

SHERBROOK, Que. – Sister
Agnes Seney, 88. died Wednesday,
Sept 14, 1988, at Mother
House of the Little Sisters of the
Holy Family in Sherbrook.
She was born in Saranac on
Aug. 25, 1900, the daughter of
Marcel and Cecile (Lizernois)
Seney.
She entered the Mother House
on July 5, 1920, pronounced her
temporary vows Aug. 5, 1924,
and her perpetual vows Aug. 5,
1929.
She spent 68 years in religious
life working within her community.
Survivors include a sister,
Florence Hackett ol Platt-
sburgh and several nieces and
nephews.
Two brothers, Loren and John,
and four sisters, Mrs. Cecile
Sidney, Mrs. Clara LaRose, Mrs.
Anna Bell and Mrs. Priscilla
McCelland, died earlier.
A Mass of Christian burial
was celebrated Friday at the
Chapel of the Mother House.
Burial was in the community
cemetery of that order
