Raymond D. Whalen
Raymond D. Whalen, 74, died
Wednesday, June 19. 1985, at the
CVPH Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 8, 1910, in
Ellenburg, N.Y., the son of John
and Jane (Wynne) Whalen. He
was a dairy farmer in Ellenburg
Center for many years.
Survivors include his wife,
Evangeline (Tourville) Whalen
of Ellenburg Center; two sons,
Clement of Marion, N.Y. and
Ronald of Ellenburg Center; six
daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Gnass
of Rochester, Mrs. Carol Hall of
Morrisonville, Mrs. Regina
Trombly of Ellenburg Center,
Miss Betty Whalen of Morrisonville,
Mrs. Barbara Decosse of
Churubusco and Mrs. Kathy
Whalen of Ellenburg Center; two
sisters, Mrs. Erma Honsinger of
Ellenburg Center and Margaret
McPherson of Malone; and 18
grandchildren. One son, Robert
James Whalen, died April 26,
Calling hours will be at the
Whalen residence after 8.30 this
evening and on Friday. Funeral
services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday
at St. Edmund’s Church in
Ellenburg. Burial will be in Immaculate
Heart Cemetery,
Churubusco.The E.F. Drown
Funeral Service, Ellenburg
Depot, is in charge of arrangements
