Patrick (Katherine) Buckley, and
four grandchildren, all of Dannemora.

steward at Clinton Correctional

Dannemora — Doris F. (Mitchell) Deyo, 79, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Dannemora on Sept. 25,1921, the daughter of Harry J. and Lillian (Light) Mitchell.

She married Gordon H. Deyo on Jan. 31, 1944, at St. Joseph’s Church in Dannemora.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Gib LaRose and Katherine and Patrick Buckley, all from Dannemora; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Fern (Deyo) Hutchins and Kerwin Hutchins from Cadyville; her grandchildren, Christopher J. LaRose and his wife Wanda from Plattsburgh, Nicole D. LaRose from Dannemora, Heather E. (Buckley) Weber and her husband Joseph from Rochester and Patrick M. Buckley of Dannemora and his fiancée Melissa Ribiero; her great-grandchildren, Christopher II, Chelsea and Kaitlynn LaRose, children of Christopher and Wanda LaRose; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; her parents, Lillian and Harry; and two brothers, Donald and Francis Mitchell.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the O’Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday from St. Joseph’s Church in Dannemora.

Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.
