Donald F. Mitchell
DANNEMORA – Donald F.
Mitchell, 42, died Saturday. Dec.
8. 1984, at the CVPH Medical
Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born April 25, 1942, in
Plattsburgh, the son of Donald
and Dora (Miner) Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell retired as a chief
petty officer after 20 years with
the Navy. Most recently, he had
been employed at Plattsburgh
Air Force Base.
He was a member of 4he Dan
nemora Veterans of Foreign
Wars And the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife.
Catherine DeWandler Mitchell:
his mother, Dora Mitchell of
Dannemora; four daughters,
Cynthia Horace of  Las Vegas and
Tamra, Francine and JehnlTeF
Mitchell, all of Dannemora;
three brothers, Anthony and.
John Mitchell, both of Dannemora,
and Patrick Mitchell of
Chazy Lake; two sisters, Mrs,
Winston (MaryAnn) Lawliss of
Dannemora and Mrs. Thomas
(Tina) Oddi of Watertown; a
granddaughter, Natalia Hance of
Las Vegas; and his paternal
grandmother, Lillian Mitchell of
Rouses Point.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the
OtNeill-Redden-Drown Funeral
Home in Dannemora.
Funeral services will be held at
11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s
Church.
