Wilfred Agoney
PERU — Wilfred Agoney, 85,
from Fuller Rd. died Wednesday
morning at the CVPH Medical
Center.
He was born Aug. 16, 1894 in Dannemora
the son of Michael and
Cordilia (Champagne) Agoney. He
was a veteran of World War I and
a member of the Peru VFW Post
309.
He is survived by four sons.
Nelson of Peru, Thomas of
Nonealton, Alaska. Jesse of Glen
Burnie, Md.. and Eugene of Peru;
two sisters, Mrs. Stella Miller and
Mrs. Cordilia Osher both of Dannemora;
20 grandchildren; several
great-granchildren and several
nieces andnephews.
Calling hours will be 2-4 p.m. and
7-9 p.m. on Thursday at the Lester
E. Thew Funeral Home. General
services will be held Friday at 9
a.m. at the funeral home with
burial to follow in the Peru
cemetery.
