MADORA LABOMBARD HOMEMAKER

Madora E. “Bing” LaBombard, 86, St. Regis Nursing Home, formerly of 9 Laurel
Terrace and East Hatfield Street, died Wednesday in Massena Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. LaBombard was a homemaker.

Born Nov. 25, 1917, in Ellenburg Depot, daughter of Rufus and Jennie Barcomb
Patnode, she was a graduate of Ellenburg Center High School. She married
Harold E. LaBombard on Nov. 25, 1940, at St. Edmund’s Church, Ellenburg, with the
Rev. O.A. Boyer officiating. Mr. LaBombard died Nov. 30, 1991.

She enjoyed reading, traveling and telling jokes.

Survived are two sons and their wives, Ronald and Paulette, Prattsburgh, and
Bruce and Nancy, Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; a daughter and her husband, Brenda and
Raymond Martell, Massena, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A son, Gary F., died Nov. 20, 1959. Six brothers, Raymond, Gerald, Francis,
Willie, Floyd and Walter Patnode, and three sisters, Irene Hodlin, Roxie
Sweeney and Ellie Patnode, also died before her.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at at St. Joseph’s Church with the
Rev. Jack Downs officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Phillips Memorial
Home. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
