John Roland Seney

John R. Seney
Seney, 82. of Pine Road, formerly
of Cadyville, died early Saturday
morning at the Glens Falls
He was born in Saranac on Dec.
16, 1897, the son of Marcel and
Cecile (Levernois) Seney.
Mr. Seney was preceded in death
by his wife, the former Bernice
Sheffield, who died in December
He worked as an electrician for
NYS Gas and Electric, formerly
Eastern New York Power Company,
for over 45 years until his
retirement in 1963 and belonged to
the Quarter Century Club there.
Survivors include: two sons,
John C. of New York City and
Philip T. of South Glens Falls; two
sisters, Sister Agnes Seney of Sherbrook,
Quebec and Mrs. Florence
Gonyea of Plattsburgh; nine
grandchildren and six great grandchildren
and several nieces
and nephews.
Calling hours will be held today
at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home
from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held
Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. James
Minor Church, followed by burial
in the parish cermetery.
