DANNEMORA ā€” Funeral services
for Harold J. King, 63, of
Chazy Lake, were held at St. Joseph’s
Church Friday morning.
The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Donald M.
Kelly, pastor, was celebrant of
the solemn Mass of Requiem. The
Rev. Eari L. Taylor of St. Alexander’s
Church, Morrisonville,
was deacon; the Rev. Norman
Poupore of the Church of the Assumption,
Redford, sub-deacon.
Bearers were Walter, Wilfred,
David and Patrick King of Chazy
Lake, Lawrence King and John
Lucia of Plattsburgh.
Burial was in the parish cemetery

Harold J. King, 63,
Dies of Heart Attack
CHAZY LAKE-Harold J. King,
63, of Chazy Lake died of a heart
attack while in Eltenburg Center
Tueday evening
Mr. King was stricken while
at Gleyn Magoon’s farm examining
pigs he was planning to buy.
Death occurred at 6:15 p.m.,
according to Dr. William P. Mc-
Kenna, appointed coroner’s physician.
Mr. King was pump bouse operator
at Chazy Lake for the State
Department of Correction and
also operated a farm of his own.
He was born Sept. 7, 1898, at
Chazy Lake, a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Wilfred King.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Hazel Perry; his father;
a son Francis, and a daughter,
Joan Martin; a brother, Adrian
T. King of Plattsburgh, and eight
The body will be returned to
the Chazy Lake residence. Funeral
arrangements are incomplete
