Chazy Lake — Francis H. King, 69, of Chazy Lake died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

Born in Chazy Lake on March 9, 1935, he was the son of Harold and Hazel (Perry) King.

Frank married his wife of 48 years, Kathleen (Rebideau), on June 6, 1956.

He was an avid outdoorsman. His hobbies included ski-dooing, four wheeling, ice fishing, hunting, playing horseshoes and running heavy equipment.

Frank retired in 1990 from Clinton Correctional Facility as maintenance supervisor.

He enjoyed his coffee-shop friends during his early morning ritual and enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by his family and friends.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially his dog, Willie, his faithful companion.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen of Chazy Lake; his five children, Jeffery King and his companion Donna Williams of Chazy Lake, Susan Glaude and her companion Mike Perrin of Ellenburg Depot, Carol and Dale Mason of Chazy Lake, Sharon and Howard Relation of Sciota and Scott King of Chazy Lake; a sister, Joan Martin of Plattsburgh; his mother-inlaw, Leona Rebideau of Chazy Lake; and his six grandchildren, Eric and Brandon Glaude, Mike and Bryan Mason and Dustin and Kristin Relation.

He is predeceased by his parents; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Relation.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday from St. Edmund’s Church in Ellenburg. Burial will follow in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens in Ellenburg Depot.
