Xavier King

Xavier King, 64, a lifelong resident
of Chasy Lake, passed away at his
home Tuesday noon following a lingering
Illness of several months duration
 Mr. King was well known
throughout northern New York, and
his many friends will regret to hear
of his passing,
He is survived by four sons: Filmore
of Plattsburgh, and Howard,
Exford and Sullivan of Chazy Lake;
four daughters, Mrs. Frank Viens of
Greenfield, Mass,, Mrs, A. D, Jarvis
of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Alfred Vlens of
North Adams, Mass., and Mrs. Edgar
LaDuke of Keeseville; two broth
ers, David and Wilfred King of Chazy
Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Delia Tague
of Troy, Mrs. Amelia Riley of Platts
bung and Mrs. Phoebe Fournier of
Chazy Lake, and twenty grandchildren
funeral services were held at nine
o’clock Thursday morning from the
Catholic church in Lyon Mountain.
Interment was in the Church Cemetery.

Xavier King farmed and operated a large dairy farm. He married Emma Malvina Decourberon (Coulbron), August 11, 1891 at the Assumption of Mary Church in Redford, New York.
