TONOWANDA - Robert D.
Rabideau, 67, of Tonawanda,
died Friday, Aug. 14, 1987, at
the Veteran Administration
Center in Buffalo.
He was born Sept. 27, 1919,
the son of Mose and Margret
(Reil) Rabideau.
During World War II he was a
staff sergeant of the 4th Infan
try Divison. U.S. Army. He was
past commander of American
Legion Post 205, D.A.V.
Chapter I and the Holy Name
Society of St. Timothy’s Church.
Survivors include his wife,
Helena (Pasino) Rabideau; two
sons, Robert Rabideau of
Phoenix, Ariz., and Gary
Rabideau of Tonawanda; one
daughter, Mrs. Jeffrey (Pamela)
Leonard of Tonawanda; nine
grandchildren; one great-granddaughter;
one brother, Herman
Rabideau of Morrisonville; two
sisters, Elizabeth Venne of Plattsburgh,
and Viola Rose of
Ogdensburg.
A funeral service was held at
St. Timothy’s Church at 10 a.m.
on Tuesday, Aug. 18.
Bearers were all past commanders
of American Legion
Post 205, D.A.V. Chapter 1.
