Mamie Louise Seguin

ALTONA — Mamie Louise
Seguin, 57, of Altona, died Wednesday,
Sept. 23, 1987, at her
residence.
She was born May 31, 1930, in
Dannemora, the daughter of
Fred and Helen (Agoney) King.
Mrs. Seguin owned and
operated the Spider Web Ceramic
Shop in Sciota for 10 years.
She was a past member of the
Altar Rosary Society of St.
Louis of France.
She is survived by her husband,
Gerald Seguin of Altona
her mother; one son, Gerald
Seguin Jr. of Plattsburgh; two
daughters, Mrs. Henry
(Geraldine) Leathe of Burlington,
Conn., and Jane Orr of Plattsburgh;
four, brothers, Roger
King and Ronald King, both of
Chazy Lake, Gary King of El-
lenburg Depot and Arnold King
of West Chazy; three sisters,
Mrs. Donald (Marjorie) Minckler
of Plattsburgh Mrs; Paul (Lorraine)
Godin of Lake Wales, Fla.,
and Mrs. Harry (Linda) Mitchell
of Cadyville; and six grandchil-
dren, Erin, Sarah and William
Seguin, Christopher and Edward
0rr, and Jennifer Leathe.
Mrs. Seguin was predeceased
by her father, Fred; one daughter,
Joyce; two brothers, Fred
Jr. and Gerald King; and one
sister, Mrs. Peter (Helen) Seguin
Sr
Calling hours will be held at
the Drown Funeral Home in El-
lenburg today from 7 to 9 p.m.
and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. A funeral service will
be held at 11 a.m/ Saturday at
St. Louis of France Church in
Sciota. Burial will be in the
parish cemetery.
Memorial donations may be
made to Hospice Care of
Clinton County.

Mr. King was a shovel and
crane operator for the New York
State Department of Transportation for 30 years
He is survived by his wife, the
former Betty Drollette of Plattsburgh;
his mother, Mrs. John
King Sr. of Chazy Lake; one son,
Alan F. King of Vancouver,
Washington; two daughters,
Mrs. Richard (Carol Ann)
LaPierre of Cadyville and
Pamela Senecal of Plattsburgh;
one brother. Benjamin King of
Saranac Lake; one sister, Mrs.
Thomas (Peggy) LaPointe of
Chazy Lake; two grandchildren
Timothy Senecal and Melissa
Ann LaPierre; and many nieces
and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 2 to
4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at
the O’Neill-Redden-Drown
Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
A funeral service will he held
Saturday at the funeral home
chapel at noon.
Entombment will be in
Whispering Maples Memorial

Seney, 57, died Tuesday, March
24, 1987, at the Kingston Hospital.
She was born May 22, 1929, in
Chazy Lake, the daughter of
Walter and Laura King.
Besides her mother, Laura
King of Ellenburg Center, she
leaves a son, Robert Seney of
Dover Plains; two daughters,
Mrs. Thomas (Deborah) Pike of
Wassaic and Mrs. Rodney
(Kate) Stevens of Wingdale;
four brothers, Walter King of
Burke, Pat King of Ellenburg
Center, Dave King of Florida
and Paul King of Phoenicia; two
sisters Mrs. Walter (Bernice)
Patnode of Wassaic and Mrs
Arthur (Phyllis) Trick of Ohio
and nine grandchildren.

Funeral Home in Ellenburg
Depot will be from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m today.
Funeral services will be held.
at 11 a.m. Saturday at St.
Joseph’s Church in Dannemora.
Burial will be in the parish
cemetery at a later date.

Funeral services where held Tuesday
morning in St Bernard’s Church for
Exford L King 69  who died Friday
evening at the Physicians Unit
of the Medical Center.
The Rev Albert W. Giroux conducted
the mass Pall bearers were Robert
LaVizne, Robert King, Howard King Jr
Burton Rockwell, Herbert Jarvis and
Allison Carter.
Burial was in the St Alexander’s
Cemetery in Morrisonville, where
the Rev Earl Taylor Recited the
comnuttal prayers.

Exford King. 44, died Monday
at the Champlain Unit of the
Medical Center after a long illness.
He was born in Detroit, Mich.,
Oct. 4, 1924. the son of Exford
and Catherine Kuhn King.
Mr. King was a veteran of
WAR. II and the American Legion
Post 852 of Darmemora.
He was owner and operator of
restaurant and picnic area
known as Kings Grove on
Chazy Lake.
Survivors include his wife, the
former Barbara O’Donnell; one
son, James Exford King II; a
daughter, Sylvia Marie King;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Exford
King of Chary Lake; three
brothers, Francis of Dannemora,
Richard of Silver Bay,
Minn. and Donald of Madrid
a sister, Mrs. Lawrence
(Valeda) Tavenier of Silver
Bay, Minn.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Stacey, 54, of the Rand Hill Road
died^Wednesday afternoon at the
CYPH Medical Center,
She was born in Chazy Lake on
Jan. 29, 1924, the daughter of James
and Mabel (Egoney) King.
Mrs. Stacey was a communicant
of St. Alexander’s Church.

mother, Mrs. Mabel King of Chazy
Lake; four brothers, James and

both of Chazy Lake, Mrs. Charles
(Elsie) Mundy of Holland Patton,
Mrs. Kenneth (Rachel) Sorrell of
Plattsburgh, Mrs. Peter (Rita)
Kent of Morrisonville and Mrs.
Thomas (Dorothy) Sylvia of
Massachusetts and several nieces
and nephews.

and friday 2-to-4-and-7 to 9
p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral
Home.
Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Alexander’s
Church followed by burial in
the parish cemetery.
A Bible Vigil will be held Friday
evening at 8 at the funeral home

-for Rita Gload were held
Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s
Church here.
The Rev. Donald Seguin. pastor,
officiated. He was assisted by Deacon
Floyd Bleaux.
Bearers were Jack Vassar,
Anthony Brown Jr., Robert Gload,
Paul Lavoie. Larry Ebere and
Mike Gregory.
Burial was in the church cemetery
where Father Seguin recited
committal prayers.

Raymond G King

Raymond G. “Uncle Buck” King
Saranac ? Raymond G. “Uncle Buck” King, 81, of True Brook Road, Saranac, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Dannemora, April 22, 1922, the son of Napoleon and Amelia (Agoney) King.

Ray was a veteran of World War II, having served from 1942 to 1945. He received several awards and medals including the Bronze Star.

He married Eunice (Duprey) King in 1945 and they were married for 43 years prior to her death on Nov. 22, 1988.

He retired following 20 years of service with the New York State DOT.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 1619 in West Plattsburgh.

Raymond and his wife spent a great deal of time at “Camp Driftwood,” their camp on Union Falls. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed fishing and gardening and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include five sisters and brothers-in-law, his longtime caregivers Theresa and Irvin Rascoe of Saranac, Ella Mae Barber of Chazy Lake, Beatrice Reyor of Blackstone, Mass., Shirley Brown of Chazy and Genevieve and Roderick Heywood of Millville, Mass.; two grandsons, Scott and Cherie King of Fort Polk, La., and Todd King of Keeseville; three great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Linda King of Keeseville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Eunice (Duprey) King; a son, Laurence King, Dec. 12, 2000; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 3 p.m. at St. Augustine?s Church in Peru with Rev. Vicente Jazinines, pastor, celebrating. Full military honors will follow, accorded by the Vermont Air National Guard Honor Guard. Burial will be in the spring in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Saranac Rescue Squad or the Assumption of Mary Catholic School.

Arrangements are by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru.
