WEST CHAZY - Everett L.
Ducharme, 85, of the Slosson
Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 8,
1992, at the CVPH Medical
Center in Plattsburgh following
a long illness.
He was born in West Chazy
Oct. 8, 1906, the son of Charles
and Cassie (Lewis) Ducharme.
He graduated from Chazy Central
Rural School in 1923. He
married Bessie M. Kingsbury
April 16. 1941. She died Jan. 4,
1989.
He was a retired farmer and
electrician. He owned and
operated the family farm on the
Slosson Road for many years
and did electrical work
throughout the area.
Survivors include three daughters,
Mary J. Harvey of Champlain
Diane M. Chevalier of
Schenectady and Barbara L.
Wylie of Plattsburgh; three
brothers, Bernard Ducharme
and Herbert Ducharme both of
West Chazy and Harold
Ducharme of Plattsburgh; two
sisters. Marjorie Boswell of
Plattsburgh and Muriel Rooney
of Saratoga Springs, five grandchildren,
three great-grandchildren
and several nieces and
nephews. A brother, Norman
Ducharme, and a sister, Dorothy
LaBarge. died before him.
Calling hours are scheduled for
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at
the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial will
Joseph’s Church in West Chazy.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

the West Chazy Rescue Squad
