CHAMPLAIN - Mrs. Riith
Lamere, 82, died Thursday afternoon
at the home of her daughter,
Vivian, mChamplam.
She was born Aug. 1, 1898 in
Altona, the daughter of Fred and
Mary (Oryelle) Coryer.
She was the widow of Ben
Lamere.
Mrs. Lamere was a communicant
of St. Mary’s Church in Champlain.
She leaves five daughters, Mrs.
Horace (Yvonne) Yelle of East
Hampton, Mass., Mrs. Margaret
King of Chazy Lake, Mrs. Amos
(Bertha) Bushey of Altona, Mrs.
Peter (Vivian) Ashline of
Champlain and Mrs. Francis
(Gladys) Boulerice of Altona; two
brothers, Clarence Coryea of Ellenburg
Depot and Howard Coryer of
Chazy Lake; 18 grandchildren and
36 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be at the Drown
Funeral Home in Mooers today
from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. i
Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s
Church in Champlain.
Entombment will be in Holy
Angel Cemetery vault
awaiting spring burial.
